The question about the nature of Indigenization and its different scopes is related to the question of what science is. This matter has always been considered in the history and philosophy of science, and the analysis of its dimensions requires the Historical flow of postcolonial studies and its role in shaping, establishing, and perpetuating indigenous discourse. This research with a Descriptive-analytical method and critical approach tries to find a precise concept of "criminological indigenization" and examine the possibility of refusal and identify its challenges and solutions. Findings from the analytical analysis of the study show that on the one hand, indigenization of criminology is the process of internalization of crime control with "Iranian reason" and on the other hand, political policy and policy with the aim of producing literature on indigenous theories and the selective and critical absorption of Western criminological theories try to effectiveness in controlling crime. Therefore, the analytical results of the present article indicate that in the social context of Iran, there is a significant gap between the epistemological and ontological system of contemporary Iranian criminology with the characteristics and components of indigenous criminology.
